Cleveland/Nashville-based 10 and 8 Management announced a new sister company, 10 and 8 Productions.
Cleveland/Nashville-based 10 and 8 Management has launched sister company 10 and 8 Productions with Paige Sodano named new Director of Special Events.
“”I am really looking forward to this new venture and applying my expertise to produce some amazing events for 10 and 8!” Sodano said.
10 and 8 Management celebrates seven years this October and, as president Nicholas Mishko commented, “I’ve been wanting to do for a while. I believe to succeed you need the right people on your team. I couldn’t be more excited as I’ve known Paige for over four years now and I’ve seen her manage events. It made sense to bring her on to lead this.”
The newly launched 10 and 8 Productions will focus on special events and festivals across the country, the first being next year’s SXSW in Austin, before transitioning into quarterly and annual events. “Right now we also have our eyes on multiple locations to buy,” Mishko adds. “One of them is 91 acres here in Ohio. I think it could be a major hub for our events.”
10 and 8 Management launched in 2012 after Mishko spent four years working at the late Allen Klein’s ABKCO Records, working to collect royalties for The Rolling Stones, The Who and Sam Cooke, among others. 10 and 8 Management now boasts 18 bands, which it books on Warped Tour, Inkcarceration, and Sturgis, to name a few.
“Having Paige on our team and her spearheading our new sister company 10 and 8 Productions adds a new dynamic to our company,” Mishko added. “We look forward to our continued growth.”
The 10 and 8 Management roster includes Providence, R.I., metalcore group Absence of Despair and pop-punk/emo band Morning in May, among others.
