Multi-platinum selling, award-winning drum-and-bass icons Pendulum recently announced they will be closing the main stage at the UK’s largest electronic music festival South West Four this Sunday, August 25, with their brand-new production, “Pendulum Trinity,” marking the first time in over a decade that the band’s original three members — Swire, Gareth McGrillen and Paul “El Hornet” Harding — have performed together outside of their native Australia.
Featuring new music from their upcoming EP set for release later in 2019, the performance will kick off their “Trinity” world tour, which will include shows across the UK, Europe, North America and Asia through 2020.
The signing coincides with the last month’s release of Knife Party’s new EP, Lost Souls, Swire and McGrillen’s first EP in almost four years. Lost Souls includes “Death & Desire” featuring Harrison, “No Saint,” “Ghost Train,” and the title track. Swire and McGrillen recently launched the podcast The Knifecast. Special guests have included Jauz, Sub Focus, Kill the Noise, Muzzy, and Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, among others.
Pendulum and Knife Party are managed by Decade Management.
