Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Live! Returns With 50-Date ‘Neighbor Day’ Tour

After bringing the popular PBS Kids show to more than 50 cities last year, Daniel Tiger Live! returns with “Neighbor Day,” which kicks off in Jan. 16 for five months of shows across the country.

Some shows are already on sale, but the remainder become available Sept. 20, with limited VIP options.
Borrowing from the popular preschool-age-targeted PBS Kids show, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Live: Neighbor Day will see characters from the popular, educational preschool-age-targeted Daniel Tiger characters take audiences on an interactive adventure to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, sharing stories of friendship, helping others and celebrating new experiences, according to the announcement.
The Daniel Tiger touring show has reported to Pollstar more than $8.6 million grossed on 126 headline shows in the United States and Canada since kicking off in 2016, with 248,728 tickets sold.
The show is produced by Fred Rogers Productions, the Brad Simon Organization and Mills Entertainment, a content studio and division of Creative Artists Agency.
The “Daniel Tiger” production is a prime example of the latest wave of kids’ touring productions that typically play civic centers and theatres, with some doing multiple daytime shows per venue and touring across the continent or the world.
Major industry players have become involved, with Cirque Du Soleil acquiring Paw Patrol Live producer VStar Entertainment acquiring, and a new “Baby Shark Live” tour recently announced by Round Room Live, which also produces the “PJ Masks” tours and whose head Stephen Shaw used to work with noted concert promoter Michael Cohl at SB2N. Peppa Pig Live! has toured extensively, which producer Jonathan Shank of Red Light Management brought to the U.S. in 2015 and who says has sold more than 600,000 tickets since the end of 2015.
