CAA Ups Three To Agent, Anthony Brown In Touring

CAA has promoted three trainees to full-fledged agents, the company announced Sept. 16.

Anthony Brown has been bumped to agent in the touring division, operating out of the company’s London office. The touring division encompasses comedy and music. 

Jesse Heussner and Erika Ruiz have made agent in the basketball department of CAA Sports. Heussner is based out of New York and Ruiz is in Los Angeles. 

CAA promoted five trainees to agent/executives in its touring division at the annual company retreat in March: Akin Aliu and Lizzie Holdforth as music touring agents, Olivia Farrell and Guy Howes as Music Brand Partnerships agents, and Ethan Kurtzman as a comedy agent.

The agency also recently put on its second “The Hubb” annual college networking summit for 30 students from throughout the U.S.
