Matt McCluskey To Book International Music Network Clients Internationally
Matt McCluskey has joined International Music Network to oversee booking in Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and Africa.
McCluskey comes from The Kurland Agency, where he was hired in 2007 after studying at Berklee College of Music and English at UMass Boston. While at TKA he worked as a domestic agent and international agent, eventually handling all bookings outside the U.S. and Canada.
“IMN has so many great relationships in our 34-year history representing artists to international markets and Matt is the right person to fulfill our artists’ career objectives going forward,” IMN director Scott Southard. “Matt broadens our reach and brings a passion for music with strong values and a tireless work ethic. We are all looking forward to working with him.”
IMN’s clients mostly lean toward jazz and include Dave Holland, Mark Guiliana, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Jason Moran, Avishai Cohen, John Scofield, and The Bad Plus.
Drummer/composer/bandleader Mark Guiliana is the artist-in-residence at this year’s NYC Winter Jazzfest and will appear as a leader and collaborator at this year’s event with Beat Music, Unholy Row, Mark Guiliana Jazz Quartet with Gretchen Parlato, Space Heroes, Mark Guiliana + Kneebody, and at a closing night Beat Music Improv show with special guests.
