New promoter Audiotree Presents will book shows at Chicago’s Lincoln Hall and Schubas Tavern, as well as throughout Michigan.

Chicago-based company Audiotree announced the launch of a new concert promotion company, Audiotree Presents, on Friday.

Audiotree Presents will promote and produce between 750 and 1,000 live entertainment events annually at Audiotree-owned Chicago clubs Lincoln Hall and Schubas Tavern, both of which Audiotree purchased in April 2015, as well as at clubs and theaters throughout Michigan.

According to the Audiotree Presents website, the promoter plans to book shows at several venues in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Kalamazoo and Ann Arbor.

The Audiotree Presents talent buying team will consist of Patrick Van Wagoner, Dan Apodaca and Nate Dorough.

Van Wagoner has worked as a talent buyer at Lincoln Hall since the venue came under Audiotree’s purview, and also helped book the later years of Audiotree Music Festival, which ran from 2013 to 2018 in Kalamazoo, Mich. Apodaca serves as talent buyer at Schubas.

Dorough, meanwhile, is an established Michigan promoter, having founded the Lansing-based Fusion Shows in 2008.

Van Wagoner and Apodaca will remain at Audiotree’s Chicago office, while Dorough, who will oversee Audiotree Presents’ Michigan operations, is setting up an office in that state.
