Banned Booking Merges With Atomic Music Group, Brings Roster To Eclectic Agency
Atomic Music Group announced today (Nov. 1) that it has merged with Banned Booking, headed up by Josh Davis who immediately joins the AMG team in Nashville.
Also joining the AMG team is agent Troy Thraikill, who will report to AMG Nashville under senior VP Logan Bosemer. Banned Booking brings its full roster of clients including The Nadas, the Envy Corps and Porter Union.
AMG, headed up by roadie-turned agent Scott Weiss, started with original client Reverend Horton Heat and has grown to include office in Los Angeles, Austin, Nashville and Toronto, and represents artists of every genre from rockabilly to metal to Latin to punk and is making moves in international markets.
The deal is in keeping with AMG’s growth history. In a previous interview, as Weiss explained to Pollstar, “We started bringing on other agents who were either leaving other agencies or other lone wolves who were running their own business, and we started absorbing them into what we eventually became, which is an incredible cast of characters.”
Davis can be reached at [email protected] and Thraikill at [email protected].
