As manager of global touring at AEG Presents, Dworman books, routes and operates tours for a spectrum of acts, including Maggie Rogers, Sturgill Simpson and Illenium. The array of artists she works with and the responsibilities those relationships entail presents her job’s biggest challenge: time management. “I try to prioritize everything I do and use my time as effectively as possible,” she says.

As touring continues to grow – as Dworman predicts it will, especially as the industry keeps developing innovations to “help keep tickets in the hands of true fans” — her myriad responsibilities will only increase. Dworman emphasizes that “growing your network and your knowledge of different aspects of the industry is the foundation to building a career,” but her hectic schedule doesn’t preclude having fun on the job.

“For the Sturgill Simpson/Tyler Childers on sale, Gary Gersh had the idea for us to have a pajama party Friday morning, since a big group of us were coming in early,” she says. “Everyone went all out with dinosaur onesies, llama pajamas, robes, slippers, etc. It was really fun and something I will never forget.”
