Lindsay Lyons oversees the 360-degree digital strategy for AEG Presents’ festival portfolio. This means, “I gets to have my hands in a lot of things at once: developing the festival’s brand design, social media voice, websites & festival apps, video content for our socials and paid campaigns, etc., as well as forging partnerships with platforms like Instagram and TikTok, all depending on what type of festival, what the objectives are and how ticket sales are tracking.” 

Keeping a number of balls in the air on different projects at once, and giving each their own time and energy, is the biggest challenge, Lyons explained, adding, “I have a post-it on my desk that says, ‘work on things that are important, not urgent,’ to remind me how to prioritize.” The most rewarding, but also most daunting event Lyons has worked on so far was Desert Trip. Said Lyons: “To ideate around how to launch a show with such iconic bands was terrifying and exhilarating! And being at the show(s) with almost everyone at our company, was celebratory in a way I’m not sure I’ve experienced before. And I got to share it with my dad!”
