Justin Bieber and his fans are marking the holiday season with not only a new single, “Yummy,” but the announcement of a massive stadium and arena tour to ring in the New Year.
He’ll also release his fifth studio album in 2020 after spending time over the last couple of years collaborating on remixes with artists including Ed Sheeran, Billie Eilish, Dan + Shay, DJ Khaled and the 2017 smash “Despacito.”
The North American tour, announced via Bieber’s Instagram account, is slated to launch May 14 at Seattle’s CenturyLink Field, and includes dates at Levis Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.; and the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. – and that’s just in May. The tour continues to hit major stadiums and arenas through Sept. 26 at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.; stopping in 45 cities to date.
It’s an ambitious return to the stage for Bieber, who canceled the remainder of his “Purpose World Tour” in August, 2017, posting to his Instagram account that he was “taking this time right now is me saying I want to be SUSTAINABLE. I want my career to be sustainable, but I also want my mind, heart and soul to be sustainable.”

There’s no question he was working the road hard at that time. From November 2015 until his last show as reported to Pollstar – a June 30, 2017 concert at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, U.K., with Halsey and Will Heard that sold 38,434 tickets – the Biebs was averaging per show ticket counts of 25,442 for an average gross of $2,254,460.
