HRVY, Arlo Parks and Matthew “Murph” Murphy are among the first artists to invite fans to a virtual tour of their respective homes as part of a new program by Ticketmaster UK.
Dubbed “Ticketmaster presents Homecoming: At Home with…,” the series replaces Ticketmaster’s “Homecoming” series, which follows artists to their home towns. Bullet For My Valentine, The Ninth Wave, Walt Disco and Lucia have all featured on the show.
Since roaming a city with a band and a camera team is currently banned almost everywhere in the world, Ticketmaster decided to change the format and visit artists at their respective homes.
HRVY, Arlo Parks, Matthew “Murph” Murphy, Jamie Lenman, Reece Bibby of New Hope Club, as well as comedian and actor Paul Chowdhry have already been confirmed, April 14-19.
The lineup is going to grow, Ticketmaster announced today.
Fans can tune in on Ticketmaster UK’s Facebook page. The goal of the “At Home with” series is to raise funds for charities that include CrewNation, the Music Venue Trust, Help Musicians UK and Cancer Research UK.
While the initial lineup is very UK centric, coming waves of acts to be announced for this series will be more international.
A Ticketmaster statement accompanying the announcement reads:
“There really is no place like home. You can learn a huge amount from somebody’s digs, what they choose to surround themselves with, and how they like to spend their time.
“As the world is encouraged to stay at home to protect our invaluable health services and to save lives, Ticketmaster Homecoming is taking you inside the homes of some of our favourite stars from the worlds of music, comedy, theatre and sport.
“Across a series of videos filmed by the stars themselves (plus a guest appearance or two from friends and family), they are hosting intimate tours around their homes, giving a never-before-seen insight into their lives, and helping to raise funds for carefully selected charities – CrewNation, the Music Venue Trust, Help Musicians UK and Cancer Research UK.”
