Over the years Terry Rhodes has worked at ICM Partners – where he served as head of music – Patriot Artists Agency, at Resolution, where he ran the music department with Steve Schenck, who is now a partner at TKO. The list of acts Rhodes has worked with over the years includes Black Sabbath, Bad Company, Eddie Money, Thin Lizzy, Merle Haggard and .38 Special.
“I’ve known Steve Schenck forever,” Rhodes said in a statement. “We worked together for about a year-and-a-half and really enjoyed it, and it was during that time he first introduced me to Andrew Goodfriend and Mike Monterulo at TKO. I had my own company at the time and realized how much I missed working with friends. TKO is the perfect opportunity for me to do my thing and pitch-in with booking the full roster. It’s a great environment for someone who has experience, loves booking and wants to be part of a team effort.”
For Gilbert the move to TKO is a homecoming as he started his career at the agency. He previously worked at Dynamic Talent International. He is bringing a roster to TKO including Bumblefoot, David Ellefson, Jason Bieler, Jeff Scott Soto. Otherwise, Smile Empty Soul, Sons Of Texas, Stitched Up Heart, and Tora Tora.
“We are thrilled to welcome Terry, and excited to have Alex returning to the company,” Monterulo said in a statement. “Both of them will be great additions as we expand the company in different and exciting new directions.”
