Dynamic Talent Agency Announces Minority Investment, Continued Expansion

Sacramento-based agency Dynamic Talent International has announced a minority investment from Sam Dean of Plug Your Holes as the company grows despite the COVID-19 pandemic, with new offices opening Stateside and the reopening of a UK office and the recent hiring of music agent Brandon Zmigrocki.

Dean brings experience in the marketing and merchandising world, with his Plug Your Holes body jewelry company going on tour both domestically and internationally, including participating in the Warped Tour from 2007 through the final Vans Warped Tour in 2019. Plug Your Holes has more than 20 employees shipping over 10,000 orders every month, according to the announcement.
On investing in DTI, Dean says, “Clearly we face a lot of hurdles as the industry opens up and anything is possible. With that being said, we’re confident in the talent, opportunities and capital that we have at our disposal. DTI is going to be a really fun place to be working out of for the foreseeable future and I am here for the long haul.”
Having met through mutual relationships, Dean says in Dynamic he saw “an opportunity to not just work together but help ramp up the scaling and staffing of a business that has quality bones,” adding Dynamic “worked quite well before all this [COVID] bullshit, and will continue quite well after this bullshit.”
Dynamic Talent International CEO Trevor Swenson says this is an exciting time for DTI as things begin to ramp back up for post-pandemic life, as the company ramps up efforts in the merchandising, VIP & ticketing and conference space.
“I’m excited to look towards the future and having Sam along with us with his extensive knowledge and experience will make the transition seamless,” says Swenson, adding that Dean’s knowledge experience and expertise in his field is “second to none.”
“Sam’s investment in DTI, along with all the new hires, is a big step forward for our company and its new divisions.”  Terms of the investment were not disclosed.
The announcement adds that Dynamic is also exploring acquisition of other companies and development of new revenue streams.
