Phoebe Bridgers is ready to reunite with fans and take her tour routing outside her apartment. Dates are here for her September-October “Reunion Tour” including her first-ever headline show at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
The outing will give the indie rock / emo songwriter Queen the chance to finally show off tunes in person from her second studio album, Punisher, which was released in June 2020 via Dead Oceans.
The album earned Bridgers four Grammy nominations including Best New Artist, Best Alternative Music Album, Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song, with the latter two for the tune “Kyoto.”
While stuck at home during the pandemic Bridgers made the best of a terrible situation with “Phoebe Bridgers’ World, Tour,” featuring virtual gigs held in her kitchen, bathroom and bedroom between May 26-June 6, 2020.
During the past year she’s also played a full set at an empty Red Rocks Amphitheatre for the “Red Rocks Unpaused” livestream; appeared on several fundraising livestream events including Pitchfork’s Instagram livestream in support of the Bail Project; and in February she made her debut on “Saturday Night Live,” performing “Kyoto” and “I Know The End.”
Like many artists, Bridgers was supposed to spend 2020 on the road. Before COVID hit she had a triumphant year lined up including shows booked opening for The National in Japan, Australia and New Zealand; a support slot on The 1975’s North American arena tour and her biggest headlining tour to date.
The “Reunion Tour” kicks off Sept. 3 at The Pageant in St. Louis and runs through Oct. 26 at The Anthem in Washington, D.C. The itinerary includes previously confirmed festival appearances at Bonnaroo, Pitchfork, Firefly, Governor’s Ball, ACL Festival and Shaky Knees.
Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan Registration is open now and closes Wednesday, July 14 at 12 p.m. ET. The Verified Fan onsale begins Friday, July 16th at 12 p.m. local time.
$1 of every ticket sold will be donated to RAINN, the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization.
