Metallica To Headline Download Germany Premiere

The iconic band will make the premiere of Download Germany a memorable one.

Live Nation today announced a massive headliner for the premiere of Download Germany next year: Metallica. 
The legendary group will take the stage at the country’s most famous race track, Hockenheimring, June 24, 2022. It will mark Metallica’s only concert in Germany next year, according to the announcement.
Five Finger Death Punch und Sabaton also confirmed their appearance at Download Germany, the only festival both bands will preform at in 2022. Live Nation expects some 70,000 hard rock fans at the first edition.
Tickets are available for both the inside circle (€139) as well as the south stands of Motodrom (€159), the section of Hockenheimring that has a stadium feel to it.
The final lineup will have up to “ten top acts,” who will take a huge double stage built for the purpose.
