Pitchfork Music Festival London Premiere Unveils Full Lineup

The band will perform at the inaugural Pitchfork Music Festival London.
The lineup of the inaugural edition of Pitchfork Music Festival London is complete. Over 50 new and established artists will perform in various iconic spaces around the capital Nov. 10-14.

Newly added artists include Lowertown at St Matthias Church, supporting Cassandra Jenkins and Natalie Bergam, Nov. 11. Yeule will join Giant Swan and Eartheather at Fabric the same night. Lil Data, Loraine James and Hyd have been added to the sold out “Love Goes On”, a showcase from the PC Music label and friends, at Fire Nightclub.
George Riley, KeiyaA, Kai Kwasi and Art School Girlfriend join Tirzah, Good Sad Happy Bad, Lucinda Chua and more join bill at Oval Space / Pickle Factory / Space, 289 and Sloppy Jane has been added to the Nov. 14 headline event at The Roundhouse with Stereolab, Girl Band, Beak> and others.
Pitchfork Music Festival London is partnering with the legendary Abbey Road Studios for the premiere, which coincides with the legendary studio’s 90th anniversary week. New music from artists performing at Pitchfork Festival London artists will be captured at the Abbey Road Studios and premiering on Pitchfork.com in the coming weeks.
It’s also the 25th anniversary of Pitchfork as a publication. Puja Patel, editor in chief of Pitchfork, who was nine years old when Pitchfork published its first review in 1996, said, “After an incredibly difficult year for artists, fans, and our music community, we’re excited to celebrate the return of live music with so many legendary venues across two of the most important music cities in the world. That we’re able to host festivals in London and Paris during the publication’s 25th anniversary feels all the more special.”

It’s where the festival first launched in 2006.
Daniel Monsell, Co-MD of Form Presents, the festival’s UK partner, said, “We at FORM are delighted to be partnering with Pitchfork to bring this inaugural UK edition of the festival to London. We’re so excited about this season of events with such vital artists, and to be able to bring the series into an array of the city’s best venues, at a time when we’ve missed them so much.”
The London festival will run back-to-back with Pitchfork Music Festival Paris, now in its 10th year and taking place Nov. 16-20. The original Pitchfork Music Festival took place at Chicago’s Union Park, where it launched in 2006, Sept. 10-12.
