Circoloco, the club’s operators, will use DICE for all things ticketing going forward.
Ticketing and music discovery platform DICE has entered into an exclusive ticketing partnership with Ibiza’s famous party brand Circoloco. The multi-year deal sees DICE providing digital tickets to all events at Circoloco’s 4,000-capacity club, DC-10. Financials weren’t disclosed.
DC-10, originally a farmhouse situated at the end of a runway at Ibiza Airport, launched in 1999. It hosted the infamous Monday session Circoloco, which became a globally renowned music brand, and the latest Spanish partner choosing DICE to sell tickets, following major festivals Sónar and Primavera Sound.
Partners say they appreciate DICE’s proprietary discovery tool, which merges algorithms and music streaming data to recommend events, as well as the platforms approach to dealing with ticket resale. Tickets cannot be resold, only returned, to be snatched up by fans on a waiting list.
Antonio Carbonaro, Circoloco founder and DC-10 partner, said, “I was very impressed by the technology of DICE. The app offers a simple, seamless and safe ticket buying experience for fans. A huge draw for us was DICE’s anti-scalping model which means tickets do not end up on the secondary ticketing market and allows us to protect fans from increased prices.”
DICE President Russ Tannen said, “It’s rare to be able to say that you’re working with a partner that has made such a huge impact on club culture. Circoloco’s DC-10 is one of those special clubs. By choosing DICE, Circoloco’s DC-10 is putting their fans first – with a platform that offers the best ticket buying experience, and will transform how people discover and attend events in Ibiza.”
