FADER Launches Management Division



The influential New York-based FADER media group has launched a management division, with artist clients shallou, James Ivy, Del Water Gap, and Mcamp. The announcement states the management company will take a hands-on, curated approach to continuing to build artists’ careers. 

 
FADER co-founder Jon Cohen says in the announcement, “FADER Management is a natural evolution of the artist development we offer through all of the services Cornerstone and FADER provide. Management enables us to use the infrastructure across our companies to play a bigger role in helping artists build and execute the right strategy and develop incredible creative.” Co-founder Rob Stone adds , “The FADER has always been about the “creator first” in music, film, live events, podcasts and collaborations. Now with our management division, we’re able to truly partner with best-in-class musicians to create their visions and inspire audiences worldwide.”
 
The announcement comes as FADER Label celebrates a banner year, with releases from Clairo, Slayyter, Lewis Del Mar, Matt and Kim and others, with the label boating 75% overall growth across streaming platforms from 2019-2020. 
FADER Label also has announced new appointments in recent months, including veteran manager, A&R and writer Matt Colwell becoming director of A&R, while longtime FADER editorial team member Salvatore Maicki was named creative content manager.
