UTA Signs Bret Michaels In All Areas
Michaels Entertainment Group – Bret Michaels
UTA has announced the signing of Bret Michaels in all areas, with global co-head of music David Zedeck calling the musician “a true multi-hyphenate.”
“From music and branding, to sports and reality tv he brings 1000% to all his business endeavors and we are honored to welcome him to our roster,” Zedeck adds in the announcement. “Bret is an enduring superstar whose impact on the entertainment landscape has continuously grown and remained relevant throughout his career. We are excited to work with him as he continues to expand his Michaels Entertainment Group Inc. businesses across various verticals, and we look forward to creating a bold new chapter together.”
Michaels added, “I am honored and excited to sign and partner with UTA. Their forward thinking, big picture vision, work ethic and energy is the perfect match for my have fun and get it done, bet on yourself mentality.”
Widely known as the frontman for ‘80s rockers Poison, Michaels’ endeavors apart from music include business dealings in real estate, speaking engagements and branding partnerships, to go along with millions of records sold, streams as well as concert tickets.
Michaels is currently on the “Nothing But A Good Vibe” tour that runs into 2022, after which he will join “The Stadium Tour” starting in June featuring Motley Crue and Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett, which was on pace as one of the biggest tours of 2020 before being postponed due to COVID.
Other recent projects include being featured in a new episode of Paramount Plus’s “Behind The Music,” and he’s in the works on a documentary about his life based on his first autobiography, “Auto-Scrap-Ography: Volume 1.” He’s also in negotiations with two major studios on a brand-new reality show, according to the announcement.
Michaels continues to be represented solo by Bruce Flohr and Coran Capshaw at Red Light Management and Janna Elias at Michaels Entertainment Group.
