Float Fest Announces 2022 Lineup With Marshmello, Vampire Weekend, Cage the Elephant And More

Float Fest will be returning to Gonzales, Texas on July 23 and 24, and announced its 2022 lineup including Marshmello, Vampire Weekend, Cage the Elephant, deadmau5, Chance the Rapper, Lord Huron, and more. 

Fans will be able to float along the river and watch each performance, with the festival boasting two stages and no overlapping set times. The event is sponsored by Coca-Colaand is set to be held on a 765-acre private ranch in Gonzales, located just over an hour away from both Austin and San Antonio and two hours from Houston. Daily shuttles will be offered from Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and San Marcus, Tex., via the festival’s website.

“Our Float fam’ can expect an unparalleled summer experience that celebrates our roots as the first and only Texas music festival centered around floating the river and camping – true Texas traditions,” Marcas Federman, Float Fest Founder, said in a statement. “Our lineup, experiential offering and new, pristine Ranch make this a can’t miss event.” 

Chvrches, Kaytranda, Quin XCII, 100 Gecs, Pusha T, Tove Lo, Hippie Sabotage, two Feet, Sueco, Aly & AJ, Nane, Daisy the Great, CVBZ, Sam Austins, Sir Woman, Me ND Adam, Madeline the Person, Doublecamp, Little Image, Games We Play and Blossom Aloe round out the rest of the festival’s lineup.

“Float Fest is the perfect way to bring summer alive for Coca-Cola fans in Texas and the surrounding states,” Ryan Keen, Senior Marketing Manager, Central Zone, for The Coca-Cola Company, said in a statement. “As presenting sponsor, we have some big plans to share in the coming months to refresh, engage and entertain the Float Fest fam’.”

The Texas festival was first founded in 2014, with past lineups including the likes of Weezer, Tame Impala, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne and more. The event also hosts a river cleanup that sees attendees and organizers cleaning up the river before, during, and after the event.

Tickets are currently available on the festival’s website, starting at $199 for GA weekend and $229 for GA weekend and tubing bundle. VIP weekend tickets are currently selling at $349. Camping passes will also be available for attendees. Those who hold weekend passes will be able to attend an exclusive Float Fest kick-off part on July 22.
