Lady Gaga Announces 2022 Summer Tour ‘The Chromatica Ball’

Lady Gaga’s long-awaited “Chromatica Ball” is due to arrive this summer and will see the pop singer performing in stadiums in Paris, London, Toronto, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, and more. 

The trek is set to kick off at Düsseldorf’s Merkur Spiel-Arena on July 17 and will hit 14 cities, wrapping up at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Sept. 10. The European leg of the tour will end with two nights at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on July 29 and 30, while the North American leg of the tour will kick off at Rogers Centre in Toronto on Aug. 6. 

The announcement sees Gaga adding eight new markets to her previously-revealed schedule, which had arrived ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic. The shows, promoted by Live Nation, will see Gaga performing her biggest hits as well as the first-ever public live performances of her critically acclaimed 2020 album, Chromatica. A remix album for the record, Dawn of Chromatica, arrived in 2021.

Lady Gaga released her second collaborative album with Tony Bennett, Love for Sale, on Sept. 30, 2021. The duo presented a pair of shows at Radio City Music Hall in New York to promote the shows, with the concerts being touted as Bennett’s last due to his diagnosis with Alzheimer’s. 

Gaga then went on to perform in Las Vegas, with her three nights from Oct. 28 to 31 grossing $4.4 million total, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice. The singer began her Las Vegas residency in 2018.

Tickets for the rescheduled tour dates in Paris, London, Toronto, East Rutherford, Chicago, and Boston are now on sale, and all previously-purchased tickets will remain valid. Tickets for the Arnhem and London dates will begin to go onsale starting on Mar. 11, while all other tour dates will begin going on sale Mar. 14 via Ticketmaster. For those buying tickets in the United States, $1 from each ticket sale will go towards the Born This Way Foundation.
