Jan Voss Appointed As Eventim Brand Connect Managing Directos
CTS Eventim has appointed Jan Voss to manage its brand partnerships and sponsoring business, effective May 1.
Voss brings a wealth of expertise in the establishment and expansion of large-scale partnerships with major international brands, with a focus on working with partners to develop new business opportunities.
He joins from Universal Music Group (UMG) Germany, where he was responsible for partnerships and licensing as vice president of UMG For Brands. Previous roles at UMG. include director of marketing and head of new business.
At UMG, Voss played a key role in establishing the product endorsement business and digital media marketing, and in taking UMG For Brands into new areas of business such as the food sector.
Voss will take up his new role on May 1, and will report to Dr. Frithjof Pils, MD of Eventim Live, who said, “Jan Voss brings the ideal mix of industry expertise and broad experience in the area of brand partnerships.”
Eventim Brand Connect enables clients to associate themselves with CTS Eventim’s 45 festivals and 10,000-plus annual shows as part of their marketing strategy, allowing them to engage with specific target groups on an emotional level.
Clients of Brand Connect include numerous big-name brands from sectors such as consumer goods, telecommunications and automotive/mobility, such as o2, Rockstar, Lidl, Winston. It can be expected that more big names will be announced in the run up to the 2022 festival season. Clients receive access to comprehensive data analysis and to CTS Eventim’s marketing channels.

Strategic Partnership With The European Volleyball Confederation CEV
CTS Eventim also just announced a strategic partnership with the European Volleyball Confederation CEV, which sees Eventim become the official ticketing partner for CEV’s top events, including future editions of CEV EuroVolley and the CEV Champions League Volley Super Finals.
CTS Eventim was selected as a partner by CEV following a Europe-wide tender process. “Throughout the tender process, Eventim demonstrated a deep understanding of our needs and a real passion for delivering a brilliant level of service to the LOCs and to all volleyball fans,” said Aleksandar Boričić, president of the CEV.
The governing body comprising more than 55 volleyball associations across Europe, wants capacity crowds at its events and to achieve the budgeted ticketing revenue for each CEV top event. It also wants to establish an international customer database, and believes CTS Eventim can help with all of the above. Said Boričić, “our new partnership with Eventim is of strategic importance for the CEV and is a key part of our digitalization process and future fan relationship management. The CEV aims to increase the fan database and to reach its potential audience through the implementation of targeted marketing campaigns. This will improve ticket sales and raise the ticketing income for the local organising committees.”
The first CEV event selling tickets through Eventim are the upcoming Champions League Volley Super Finals 2022 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, May 22. Ticket go on sale on April 8.
