Innovation Arts and Entertainment is partnering with Madison House Presents and AEG to book headliners for the 2023 Beach Road Weekend Music Festival, following this year’s event at Martha’s Vineyard taking place in August.

The booking agreement includes the AEG-operated Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York, which will provide opportunities for headliners to play two venues on the same weekend in two special settings.

“It is truly a privilege to partner with our great friends Mike Luba and Don Sullivan at AEG,” said Adam Epstein, President and CEO of Innovation Arts and Entertainment. “I have watched as they built upon the legacy of Forest Hills Stadium, turning it into a must-play in the New York metro. Mike and Don have established a reputation as amazing curators of great live music. Together we will put on some incredible shows in the years ahead.”

Innovation puts on the Beach Road Weekend Festival, which this year will feature Beck, Wilco, The Avett Brothers, Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, Billy Strings, Kruanghbin, Mt. Joy and more on Aug. 26-28 at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Vineyard Haven, Mass. Three-day passes have already sold out, according to the announcement.

The first iteration of the event took place in 2019, featuring Phil Lesh, John Fogerty, Grace Potter and more. Innovation also puts on a summer season at the site that kicks off in July counting artists such as the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Deer Tick, Paula Poundstone and more.

“It is remarkable what Adam and his team have been able to do in just a few years,” said Don Sullivan, Senior Vice President, AEG Global Touring. “What they put together in 2022 speaks for itself with an amazing lineup and selling out months ahead of the festival. We look forward to building off that success to bring unforgettable experiences with world-class artists to the Northeast.”

The 13,000-seat Forest Hills Stadium, former tennis stadium and home of the U.S. Open, is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2023, and recently announced its 2022, including a recently announced performance from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Other upcoming shows at Forest Hills include AJR, Bon Iver, Phoebe Bridgers, The Lumineers, Lord Huron, Coheed and Cambria, and Death Cab For Cutie.
