Panic! At The Disco Announces ‘Viva Las Vengeance Tour’
Panic! At The Disco will be hitting the road this fall in support of their upcoming album, Viva Las Vengeance, which is due to be released on Aug. 19.
The trek kicks off on Sept. 8 at the Moody Center in Austin with stops including Houston, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Toronto, Boston, Tampa, Nashville, Denver and more before wrapping up the North American leg on Oct. 25 at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
In February the group heads off to Europe starting at Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria, on Feb. 20. Panic! At The Disco will make play shows in Munich, Paris, Glasgow, London and more before wrapping at Manchester’s AO Arena on March 10.
Panic!’s upcoming album was recorded in Los Angeles with frontman Brendon Urie working with production partners Jake Sinclair and Mike Viola. The record sees Urie reflecting on his upbringing in Las Vegas, as well as his career throughout Panic! At The Disco.
“Viva Las Vengeance is a look back at who I was 17 years ago and who I am now with the fondness I didn’t have before,” Urie said in a statement. “I didn’t realize I was making an album and there was something about the tape machine that kept me honest.”
Panic! At The Disco last toured in 2019 with performances throughout Europe and North America. Two Feet, Betty Who and Conan Gray joined the band on select dates throughout their North American run. Box office reports submitted to Pollstar include two shows at London’s The O2 March 28-29, 2019, that sold a total of 36,078 tickets and grossed nearly $2.2 million.
The band is donating $1 (and $1 Euro/$1 GBP in Europe and the UK) from every ticket sold on the “Viva Las Vengeance Tour” to Panic!’s Highest Hopes Foundation, which supports organizations that advocate for support for human rights.
Tickets for the upcoming dates will go on sale starting June 10 at 10 a.m. local time.
