Kane Brown Announces 2023 ‘Drunk Or Dreaming’ U.S. Arena Tour
Kane Brown fans, you’re not dreaming – the country superstar has set dates for his next U.S. tour. The new run of gigs – scheduled March through June, 2023 – make up the latest leg of Brown’s “Drunk Or Dreaming Tour.” The AEG Presents trek features two dozen concerts concentrated in arenas with the exception of a few stops including two nights at Florida’s St. Augustine Amphitheatre.
Earlier this week Brown made headlines for becoming the first male country artist to perform on the MTV VMAs. Brown showed off his new single “Grand” at the VMAs Aug. 28 and the next day he released a new vertical music video for the tune on his TikTok page.
“Grand” will be featured on Brown’s third studio album, Different Man, due out Sept. 9th. The 17-track album also includes previously released songs Whiskey Sour,” “One Mississippi,” “Leave You Alone” and “Like I Love Country Music,” which reached No. 1 on the Country Radio charts earlier in August. The LP boasts appearances from his wife Katelyn Brown and Blake Shelton.
The U.S. “Drunk Or Dreaming Tour” kicks off March 16 at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Stops include Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina; Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio; Bridgestone Arena in Nashville; SAP Center in San Jose, California; and MetraPark Arena in Billings, Montana.
Brown will be joined by special guests Dustin Lynch, Gabby Barrett and Locash, with support varying per market.
Fans can register for presale access now at kanebrownmusic.com. Tickets go on sale Sept. 9 in local markets.
The tour poster shared on Brown’s social media includes an image of a horse on April 29 rather than a city or venue. Perhaps that spot is being saved for Goldenvoice’s Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio, California, which is happening April 28-30.
Brown’s previously announced “Drunk Or Dreaming International” tour launches in Australia on Sept. 17 at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena. The tour features his first-ever shows in Australia and New Zealand, Sept. 17-25, along with a return to Canada, Dec. 1-18. and Europe Jan. 17-31.
Recent Box office reports submitted to Pollstar for Brown include two shows at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, June 4-5, 2022, that sold 13,197 tickets and grossed $1,257,425. The shows featured support from RaeLynn and Walker Hayes.
Speaking of history-making moments, Brown’s 2021-2022 “Blessed & Free Tour” represented the first time a country artist has headlined every NBA arena in a single tour. In May Brown played his first-ever stadium show with a May 7 gig at Finley Stadium in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tenn.
