Greensky Bluegrass Announces Winter Tour 2023

Dobro player Anders Beck, banjoist Michael Arlen Bont, guitarist Dave Bruzza, upright bass player Mike Devol and mandolinist Paul Hoffman will be kicking off 2023 with a 16-date tour through the East Coast and Midwest. Greensky Bluegrass’ annual winter tour is back! 

Ahead of the tour, Greensky Bluegrass have previously scheduled shows planned this week at 

Humphrey’s By the Bay in San Diego Oct. 27-28 and The Warfield in San Francisco Oct. 29, along with a handful of dates in Oregon and Michigan in November. In December the band – which is known for its thoughtful lyricism, genre-expansive sound and impressive live performances – heads to Puerto Morelos, Mexico, for Strings & Sol Dec. 7-10 and two New Year’s Eve shows in Atlanta at The Tabernacle Dec. 30-31.
 

The “Winter Tour 2023” launches Jan. 12 with a show at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo, N.Y. The run includes the band’s debut performances at the historic Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, New Jersey Jan. 18 and the Stanley Theater in Utica, New York, Jan. 15. The road trip wraps with two nights at The Vic Theatre in Chicago Feb. 3-4.

“Greensky is and always has been very unique in our world,” Hoffman said in a statement. “We put our love, energy, and focus into what we appreciate about our music. We come together as a band in a way that’s organic. We take a lot of pride in how we grow and challenge each other too. We’re maturing together. I think we get more Greensky all of the time.”

Box office reports submitted to Pollstar for Greensky Bluegrass include an Aug. 12 show at Filene Center At Wolf Trap in Vienna, Virginia,  that sold 4090 tickets and grossed $179,155.
