ILMC Introduces Live Showcases
ILMC will feature live music showcases across multiple venues for the first time in its 35-year history.
Dubbed London Calling, Wednesday, March 1, 2023, will be a “first-of-its-kind central London showcase featuring some of the best emerging artists in the world,” according to the announcement.

ILMC head Greg Parmley told Pollstar that while ILMC had individual showcases before, like the Dutch Impact night which ran for years, and the Access All Areas programme which allows delegates to get into shows happening around town, and which will continue as usual, the event never had a multi-venue showcase schedule like this before.
The showcases will take place across multiple venues in London’s buzzing Soho district, not far from ILMC’s new venue, the Royal Lancaster Hotel. Artists performing at London Calling will be curated by a number of cultural bodies and companies.
1,200 live music professionals from all over the world are expected to attend ILMC 35, Feb. 28–March 3, next year. Their badges will grant them access to all London Calling shows.
Initial supporters of the London Calling premiere include Mad Cool Festival, Music Venue Trust’s Revive Live program, Gigseekr and ILMC’s Latin Live partners, Loud and Live, Grand Move, and OCESA.
