Kygo, Jack White to Headline Winter Palm Tree Music Festival in Aspen
The tropical lifestyle will be making its way to the snowy Colorado mountains in February with the inaugural Palm Tree Music Festival Aspen, a two-day intimate experience that will be headlined by Kygo and Jack White.
The festival, co-produced by Palm Tree Crew, Belly Up Aspen and C3 Presents, takes place Feb. 24-25, 2023, at Rio Grande Park in downtown Aspen. Other performers on the bill include Gryffin, King Princess, Cannons and Forester (Live). Presale tickets will be available Thursday, Dec. 1, at 2 p.m. MT on the festival website, followed by a public onsale on Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. MT.
The expansion of the festival comes on the heels of successful events in The Hamptons, Cabo San Lucas and Croatia. It will be the first winter edition of Palm Tree Music Festival, and organizers intend to show that paradise can be found anywhere in the world — including the lush mountain landscapes of Aspen.
“I can’t wait to bring Palm Tree Festival to Aspen this winter. I’ve played at Belly Up and the X Games before but this one is going to be very special,” Kygo said in a statement. “The lineup has some amazing artists and it’s right in downtown Aspen so it’s going to be a fun one.”
Myles Shear, a co-founder of Palm Tree Crew, said he was proud to “build something that has never been done before during the peak winter season.”
“Palm Tree Crew is making history here in Aspen, and we are stoked to finally see this event come to life,” he added.
David and Danny Goldberg of Belly Up Aspen expressed the same excitement in adding more to the Aspen experience during the winter season. “To be able to produce an event like this here in our community is something we have been diligently working on for a long time,” they said.
Fans who purchase general admission tickets will have access to the standing room only section near the stage, food vendors and exclusive Palm Tree Crew merchandise. VIP ticket holders will have the same amenities along with access to the upper-level viewing deck that will be heated and covered and include dedicated food, bar and private restrooms. Fans can also purchase tables for the festival that will feature signature food items. Tickets will be available at palmtreemusicfestival.com.
