Panel: Knowing When To Pull The Plug Or Sweat It Out
Date/Time: Thursday l Feb. 23 l 2 p.m.
Why must everyone go to your panel?
To see the sick banter Sam Hunt and I can throw.
What story will you tell during the panel?
Likely a long-winded story about how many gray hairs the “chance of rain” has given me over the years working with Stubb’s.
What’s the story you won’t tell?
Don’t expect me to name names on shows that we should have pulled the plug on but didn’t unless it was one of Sam’s clients.
What may cause tempers to flare?
Other people on the panel talking about when they should have pulled the plug but didn’t.
What was the best part of your 2022?
Not having to reschedule shows due to COVID.
Your predictions for 2023’s live industry highlights?
I don’t know if I would call it a prediction, but more of a hope. I HOPE we are able to see ticket sales be reflective of the artist instead of what we have been dealing with – which is ticket sales being reflective of the economy and state of the world. Here’s hoping!
Career tentpoles you are most proud of?
I’m most proud to be on a team of people that support each other and genuinely want each other to grow. There’s not a lot of jealousy, there is a lot of friendly (for the most part) competition, and a lot of laughs.
