Danny Elfman Announces Pair Of California Performances

Renowned composer and recording artist Danny Elfman will play two Southern California amphitheaters in August, showcasing the breadth of his career,

Elfman’s show — “From Boingo to Batman to Big Mess and Beyond!” — will play San Diego’s North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre August 3 and Irvine’s FivePoint Amphitheatre August 5.

Elfman will be backed by an all-star band that includes Stu Brooks on bass (Dub Trio, Lady Gaga), Nili Brosh on guitar (Dethklok), Robin Finck on guitar (Nine Inch Nails, Guns N’ Roses), and Ilan Rubin on drums (Nine Inch Nails, Angels & Airwaves). He will also be backed by the same orchestra and choir who played behind him at Coachella 2022 and in his critically acclaimed Halloween performances at the Hollywood Bowl.

The set includes songs from Oingo Boingo and Elfman’s solo career, along with selections from the film and television scores he’s composed.
