Another major UK festival has sold out all available tickets for 2023, in the case of Kendal Calling, which returns to Lowther Deer Park, England, July 27-30, that’s a capacity of some 40,000 people.
It also means that the Lake District’s most famous festival has sold out for a 17th consecutive year, consistently doing so since launching in 2006. And by doing so in three-and-a-half months, Kendal Calling set a new record.
There’s ten pairs of tickets left available through a charity raffle to raise funds for James’ Place, a charity that provides therapy for men in suicidal crisis, and Papyrus UK, a charity dedicated to preventing young suicide.
Another opportunity to still get on site at Lowther Deer Park is to apply as a volunteer on Kendal Calling’s website.
Kendal Calling the third UK main event to sell out this year, alongside Glastonbury and Download. Its lineup is led by Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Kasabian, Royal Blood, and Blossoms.
The Kendal Calling 2023 bill also features Kaiser Chiefs, Scouting For Girls, Rick Astley, The Lathums, Example, Confidence Man, Circa Waves, Melanie C, Natalie Imbruglia, and more.
Andy Smith, founder of Kendal Calling, said, “We’re thrilled to announce this final chance for music fans to join us at the sold-out Kendal Calling through our raffle benefiting James’ Place and Papyrus UK. These organisations do incredibly important work, and we’re keen to support them in any way we can. To all those joining us this year – we can’t wait to see you in the fields and share an unforgettable weekend together!”
