Killer Mike Sets Summer Solo Tour
Your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper Killer Mike will tour theaters this summer, along with a smattering of festivals, in support of Michael, his first solo album in more than a decade.
After taking break from solo work to concentrate on Run The Jewels, the rapper is back on his own with the album hitting the streets June 16 to advance acclaim.
“The High & Holy Tour” launches at the Saturn in Birmingham, Alabama, July 10 and includes plays at legendary venues like the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and The Apollo in Harlem. Mike will also play Pitchfork in Chicago. The tour wraps August 5 at New Orleans’ Joy Theater. See the complete routing below.
Tickets for the tour are on sale and available here.
Mike has played festivals already this summer. Run The Jewels toured with Rage Against The Machine last summer, but did play a handful of UK and Ireland headline dates as well, including a 3,000-ticket sellout at Glasgow’s O2 Academy, grossing $47,016, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
