Queensrÿche, Sodom, Candlemass To Headline 2024 Hell’s Heroes
The sixth edition of Hell’s Heroes Festival in Houston, Texas, is set with Queensrÿche, Sodom and Candlemass headlining next year’s heavy metal event, which takes place March 21-23 at White Oak Music Hall in Houston, Texas.
The three-day metal fest will also feature Doro, Watchtower, TANK, Demolition Hammer, Girlschool, Eternal Champion and many other acts in what event organizers promise is “the most laudable lineup in the festival’s history.”
“Hell’s Heroes 2024 will have all guns blazing,” festival organizer Christian Larson, who is also a member of the bands Necrofier and Night Cobra, said in a statement. “I’ve been working on securing some of these bands for over half a decade, so it feels amazing to finally see it happening! We are also thrilled to present the exclusive, one-off sets, and thank the bands for making it happen. This is all a dream come true.”
Tickets are already on sale and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
Queensrÿche will be one of the acts to perform an exclusive set for the event that will feature songs from their self-titled EP from 1982 and debut album, The Warning. Candlemass, a Grammy Award-winning epic doom metal band from Sweden, will also have a special set, performing their Nightfall album from 1987 in its entirety.
The original members of Solitude Aeturnus will reunite for the festival, which also features Wytch Hazel, Omen, Morbid Saint, Sumerlands and Traveler.
Hell’s Heroes launched in 2018 and has become a popular annual festival among metalheads. This 2023 edition of the event was headlined by Triptykon, and the lineup also included Possessed, Razor, Demon and Pagan Altar.
