Iron Maiden Announces FUTURE PAST 2024 North America Tour
Titans of heavy metal Iron Maiden will continue the momentum from 2023 into next year, with a slew of North American dates announced for fall of next year on both coasts as part of the “The Future Past World Tour.”
Dates kick off Oct. 4 in San Diego, California, and run into mid November, with stops at venues including Kia Forum near Los Angeles, Moda Center in Portland, Centre Bell in Montreal, Barclays Center in New York, CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore and wrapping at the newly named Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, Nov. 17. Also included is a festival date, Oct. 12 at Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, which the band will headline.
An exclusive Iron Maiden fan club presale for the Live Nation-promoted tour dates begins Tuesday, Oct. 31, with general onsale taking place Friday, Nov. 3.
Iron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood says in the announcement, “THE FUTURE PAST TOUR is one of the most exciting tours we’ve ever done and to be performing both brand new material and songs that haven’t been played for many years with a mix of fan favourites has been a great experience for both the fans and the band. The energy has been incredible and we can’t wait to continue bringing this amazing and innovative show to fans around the world next year.”
The announcement follows the band’s headlining performance at Power Trip festival in Southern California, which itself followed European and Canadian arena and stadium dates including sold-out shows at The O2 London, Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and Estadio Nueva Condomina in Spain, which sold just shy of 25,000 tickets and grossed $2.4 million. The “Future Past Tour” includes songs from Maiden’s recent Senjtjutsu album as well as the 1986 classic Somewhere In Time, and other fan favorites. The band played to more than 750,000 fans on the 2023 tour leg. Pioneers of modern heavy metal, Iron Maiden remains a consistent arena and festival headliner, known for high-energy performances from frontman Bruce Dickinson and spectacular, analog-style stage production.
The band is represented in North America by CAA.
