Ringo Starr And His All Starr Band Back On The Road In Spring 2024
The Starrs will shine again in 2024.
Ringo Starr And His All Starr Band will play a dozen shows next spring, including six at The Venetian in Las Vegas and a pair at Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City. Details on the other four dates will be announced later. See the routing details below.
Ringo and the current iteration — Steve Lukather, Edgar Winter, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart and Gregg Bissonette — is the 15th version since Starr put together his first configuration in 1989.
According to 328 Pollstar Boxoffice reports dating back to 1999, the All-Starrs moved more than 1 million tickets and grossed $74.5 million, averaging just over $250,000 and 3,611 tickets per concert. Recent shows suggest higher yields, including three nights at NYC’s Beacon Theatre last June that brought in $904,000 and two shows last September at Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena and the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida, grossing $496,000 and $445,000, respectively.
“I’ve always said I’m my happiest when I’m playing with great musicians – and this band is one of the very best. But even so,” Ringo said in a release, “sometime during and just after every tour I think ok that’s it – I’m going to stop touring. My family don’t believe me anymore and so it comes as no surprise to them that once again, I’m taking the All Starr Band back on the road! We’ll be doing 12 shows in May and June, going back to Mexico – which I love – and we’ll be doing a bit of a residency in Las Vegas at the Venetian. See you out there and until then I send you peace and love.”
