Nickel Creek And Andrew Bird Announce Co-Headlining Summer Tour
Folk darlings Nickel Creek and Andrew Bird will hit the road on a 13-city co-headlining tour this summer.
The tour, which follows Nickel Creek’s previously announced run, kicks off at Jacksonville, Oregon’s Britt Pavilion July 5 and includes stops in Boise, Minneapolis and Atlanta before wrapping at North Charleston, South Carolina’s Firefly Distillery July 20.
The tour is a mix of amphitheaters and theaters, along with two breweries and the aforementioned distillery. See the full routing below.
Tickets and VIP packages for the new shows will be available January 30 at 10 a.m. local time with general on-sale February 2 at 10 am local time. One dollar from every ticket sold will benefit World Central Kitchen. For ticket and pre-sale details, visit www.nickelcreek.com/tour.
Nickel Creek sold out three shows at the Ryman in September 2023, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports, grossing $464,638 on a combined 6,742 tickets. Bird grossed $58,328 on 1,155 at Los Angeles’ Bellwheter July 30.
Nickel Creek, who are nominated for Best Folk Album at this weekend’s Grammys, are represented by Wasserman Music’s Lynn Cingari and Jackie Nalpant. Bird is repped by Arrival Artists’ Eric Selz in the Americas.
