Zeds Dead Extends ‘2 Night Stand Tour,’ Heads To Nashville
Zeds Dead’s “2 Night Stand” tour is heading to Nashville, the Canadian bass music duo announced. The new shows take place May 3 and 4 at Skydeck in Nashville, with support soon to be announced.
The trek revives Zeds Dead’s “2 Night Stand” tour, which first took place in 2016 and featured shows in renowned rock venues. The first shows begin Feb. 1 at Belly Up in Aspen, Colorado, with Zeds Dead making stops in Boise, Idaho; San Marcos, Texas; Spokane, Washington and Kansas City, Missouri.
In addition to their “2 Night Stand” tour, Zeds Dead is playing their biggest east coast show to date, two nights at Hampton, Virginia’s Hampton Coliseum on April 12 and 13. The shows, title “Deadbeats: First Contact” feature support from Skream (dubstep set), Jade Cicada, Rusko, Cool Customer, Smoakland b2b Sippy and more.
They also announced their return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, for their annual “Deadrocks” shows taking place on July 2 and 3. Following their 10th anniversary at the venue, they’ll celebrate Fourth of July alongside the rest of their Deadbeats record label in downtown Denver for the fourth annual “Deadbeats Backyard Jamboree.”
Recently, Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats record label teamed up with Los Angeles-based promotion company Brownies & Lemonade for Deadbeats x DNBNL, a compilation album filled with drum and bass. The label and promotion company have thrown several events, including an after party following Zeds Dead’s three nights at the Salt Shed in Chicago and an album release party at Dave and Busters.
Their three nights at The Salt Shed, taking place Dec. 14-16, grossed a total $534,814, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice. Their Oct. 27 show at Underground Atlanta grossed $273,820, while their July 28 headline at The Brooklyn Mirage at Avant Gardner in Brooklyn, New York, sold out and grossed $401,855.
Zeds Dead are managed by 2+2 Management’s Adam Gill and booked by Wasserman Music’s Cody Chapman.
