Get Me Two: Point Break Fest Topped By Sublime, Rebelution
The inaugural Point Break, a reggae and ska heavy festival in Virginia Beach, will be headlined by Sublime and Grammy-nominated band Rebelution.
Sublime — with original members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson on drums and bass respectively, and new lead singer Jakob Newell, son of the late lead singer and guitarist Bradley Nowell — will top the bill Saturday, June 1, with Rebelution finishing up the festival on Sunday, June 2.
The festival will take place on the beach at 5th Street.
The inaugural event, produced by Virginia Beach-based IMGoing, will also feature performances by Wiz Khalifa, Stephen Marley, Steel Pulse, Pepper, Tribal Seeds, Fortunate Youth, Hirie, The Expendables, Bumpin Uglies, Denm, Tropidelic, Artikal Sound System, Ballyhoo, Passafire, REGLDGRN, Kash’d Out, Joe Samba, The Supervillians, Of Good Nature, Quasi Kings, Cultivated Minds, and Ganja Cat.
