A group of more than 100 live industry professionals gathered in Beverly Hills on Tuesday to celebrate the Pollstar and VenuesNow’s 2024 Women Of Live honorees, along with the inaugural class of the Women of Live Hall of Fame.

With extra excitement surrounding the Hall of Fame, the turn out to the invite-only event was excellent – attendees were so packed into the space that it was often tricky to move around. Walking into the reception area at Il Pastaio, the mood at the Italian restaurant was festive and spirits were high. There’s just something special about the energy when so many women join together. Of course, the event, which was put on by presenting partner Live Nation Women and partners Jampack and BMO Stadium, also included a number of wonderful men too. Gotta have our allies!

Attendees at the event included Hall of Famers Ali Harnell of Live Nation Women, Carole Kinzel of CAA, Judi Marmel of Levity Live, Marla Ostroff of Ticketmaster and Marsha Vlasic of IAG. Pollstar cover honoree Heather Lowery of Femme It Forward / Next Gem Femme was also there, along with Maggie Arthur of Calling All Crows, Amy Davidman of TBA Agency, Darby Moeller of Sixthman, Fallon Nell of Outback Presents, Melissa Garcia of Silent House Productions Sali Kharazi of Full Stop Management, Dr. Debonair Oates-Primus of Oak View Group (Pollstar’s parent company), Chamie McCurry of Danny Wimmer Presents, Cheryl Paglierani of UTA, Jessica Lawson and Laura Waters-Brown of Wasserman Music and Misty Roberts, tour manager for HAIM.

In addition to the opportunity to honor the accomplishments of these amazing women, one of the highlights of the event was seeing old friends reunite and new connections be made as selfies were snapped and phone numbers exchanged.

Even the closing of the event provided a chance for laughs and reflection as Oak View Group and Pollstar staff struggled to break down the frame that held the step-and-repeat banner. Attendee Fabi Kulick, who serves as Head of Latin Tour Marketing at Live Nation, offered to help out and quickly got the contraption to close — a perfect example of how putting on events is truly a group effort.
