Morgan Wallen To Open Thunder Ridge Nature Arena

Country star Morgan Wallen will be the debut act at the new Thunder Ridge Nature Arena May 25.

Fan club pre-sale begins April 2 at 10 a.m. local time and ends April 4 at 10 p.m. local time, with general on-sale beginning this Friday, April 5 at 10 a.m. local time at Ticketmaster.com.

Three dollars of every ticket sold for U.S. dates benefits the Morgan Wallen Foundation which supports programs for youth with a focus on sports and music.

Support will be announced at a later date.

Wallen, who is repped by The Neal Agency, finished at No. 6 on Pollstar‘s Year-End Worldwide Tour Rankings, raking in $284.8 million, selling 1,436,462 tickets.

The Ridgedale, Missouri amphitheater he’ll open — just outside Branson — is the vision of Bass Pro Shops founder and conservationist Johnny Morris and is intended as a  a one-of-a-kind immersive outdoor “musical postcard from Mother Nature.” 

The venue will be managed and operated by ASM Global, which has partnered with Live Nation to produce live music events.

“We all love our beautiful Ozarks and feel deeply proud to be able to share the beauty of the place we are blessed to call home with others around the globe for generations to come,” Morris said in a February statement. He calls the project “a gift to the people and heritage of the Ozarks.”

“A highly specialized team utilizing biomimicry architectural techniques has fused the musical showcase… into the world around it with every seat holding breathtaking views of 1,200 acres of Table Rock Lake, inlets, and infinite verdant forested Boston Mountain vistas,” according to the announcement..

Morris and his team believe Thunder Ridge Nature Arena “will be an unparalleled outdoor live entertainment experience including a never-before-seen luxury box embellishment called ‘The Nature Tower.,”  

The Nature Tower rises 12 stories from the Ozark limestone and dolomite earth, and four of its floors will contain VIP suites replete with bedrooms, unobstructed views of the performing stage and panoramic nature sightlines.
