Little Big Town had so much fun performing at the CMT Music Awards last night with longtime friends and collaborators Sugarland that the award-winning four-piece band has announced an arena tour with the duo as its special guest.

During the award shows the two groups showed off their rendition of “Take Me Home,” which was originally written and released by Phil Collins in 1985. The tour, which is named after the newly released single, launches Oct. 24 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.

Stops on the routing include Boston’s TD Garden,  Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum, Austin’s Moody Center and Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

“Last night felt like a real homecoming for us and a full circle moment. When we toured with Sugarland last, we would all be backstage harmonizing different cover songs to try and surprise the audience every night.  There’s something about this song that feels so nostalgic of that time. It really is like coming home,” Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook said in a joint statement.

The group added, “The ‘Take Me Home’ tour feels like a celebration of being a band for 25 years and we’re so excited to throw this party with our great friends Sugarland. We’ll both be playing all our biggest hits and then some. Can’t wait to see everyone!”

Various ticket pre-sales for the tour, produced by Live Nation and Sandbox Live, are scheduled throughout the week, ahead of the general onsale beginning on Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m. local time at www.littlebigtown.com. A variety of VIP packages will be available. For more information, visit vipnation.com and check out the routing below.

Little Big Town is managed by Sandbox Entertainment’s Jake Basden and booked by CAA’s Darin Murphy. Recent reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice include a July 15, 2023, show at Santa Barbara Bowl in Santa Barbara, California, that sold 4,551 tickets and grossed $438,281.
