Finding your next job in the live event production industry is now just a click away with Giggs announcing its official public launch Tuesday. Giggs is a networking platform for live entertainment professionals that streamlines the job marketplace for employers and workers.

Since the platform’s beta launch five months ago, Giggs has racked up 10,000 users and more than 150 job posts and hires, according to the company’s release, and is backed by capital investment and support from industry leaders.

Industry veteran Nikki Sanz, who worked on the road with artists such as Eric Church and George Strait, came up with the idea of Giggs after experiencing “the inefficiencies plaguing the hiring processes of the live event industry.”

“Giggs helps save executive time spent on inefficient word-of-mouth hiring methods,” Sanz, founder and CEO of Giggs, said in the release announcing the launch. “Employers can directly connect with a vetted, skilled workforce to find the exact talent they need when they need it. It’s not just about filling positions; it’s about optimizing time and resources to focus on what truly matters — load in and out on time, and a flawless show!”

Through Giggs, Sanz wants to give live event professionals more opportunities and eliminate the idea of hiring people you know within the industry rather than giving qualified individuals a chance.

“Giggs streamlines hiring for production companies, tour management, venues, artist managers and live event organizers by offering vetted, top-tier professionals,” said Sanz, who will be on the 11th season of Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Elevator Pitch” series that airs later this year. “We aim to ensure that only qualified candidates apply to jobs. It’s about efficiency, quality, and connecting the right people to bring creative visions to life.”

The company recently collaborated with the Academy of Country Music in Nashville, Tennessee, in February for its first live networking event and plans to host similar events across the country this year.

Ryan Whelpley, an artist touring coordinator for Red Light Management, provided a testimonial praising Giggs, saying it “has been a great resource in closing the networking and communication gap when it comes to staffing hours. I’m impressed by how many qualified people are in the Giggs network.”

Scott Welch, former manager of Alanis Morissette, Steve Perry and Paula Abdul, also spoke highly of the new platform and said, “I’ve spoken with too many production companies who had to leave gear in their warehouses because they couldn’t find enough skilled labor. Even venues struggle to fully staff their shows. The industry needs a platform like Giggs to keep pace with the growing industry.”
