With more music-themed cruises and destination festivals like La Onda by BottleRock in Napa Valley, California, continuing to be announced, many fans are planning their vacations around the events — aka “event-cations.” While planning a trip can be half the fun, it can be stressful for fans to coordinate all of the details. Enter Jampack, which partners with event producers to offer curated ticket and hotel bundled packages via the event’s website.

This is a win-win for fans, who get to enjoy discounted rates on hotel accommodations, as well as another source of revenue for event producers.

“Festival producers earn revenue on the hotel rooms their fans book with Jampack,” says Andrew Citores, CEO and co-founder of Jampack. “Our technology can bundle tickets, swag or parties with over 200,000 hotel rooms at wholesale rates or lower. Then our platform marks up prices just enough to earn producers meaningful revenue while still getting fans great deals.” Jampack launched in 2020 and rebranded in 2023 for consumers, powered by Fuse Technologies’ proprietary technology.

With lodging limited in downtown Napa, it was a natural fit for BottleRock Napa Valley to team up with Jampack to provide fans more options within a short bus ride of the festival held at the Napa Valley Expo. After working with producer Latitude 38 Entertainment on 2023’s edition of BottleRock, Jampack is on board for the 2024 festival as well as the inaugural La Onda, a Latin music version of the popular music and culinary event. La Onda takes place June 1-2, the weekend after BottleRock, with a lineup topped by Maná, Fuerza Regida, Alejandro Fernández and Junior H.

“Jampack and Latitude 38 Entertainment both strive to make the entire fan experience easy and enjoyable from the moment they arrive in the City of Napa to the moment they leave, not just within the La Onda festival grounds,” says Jasa Laliberte, director of marketing, at Latitude 38 Entertainment. “This philosophy is a big reason why we have partnered. The bundles that Jampack provides not only help us give the fan more options for accommodations, but it also helps fans bundle their experience with ease.”

Mandi Lo, director of client success at Jampack, explains that working with Latitude 38 Entertainment is a collaborative process and that the producers are very data-driven in knowing where their audience is coming from.

“We’re here to support and supplement what their fans want, which in the case of La Onda is convenience and accessibility to the event. … We’ll develop those relationships with the hotel properties and then our team will contract these rooms at a discounted rate, package it with the festival tickets [and] shuttles,” Lo says.

Hotel packages for La Onda include accommodations in Napa, San Francisco, Sonoma, Oakland, Santa Rosa and Sacramento, featuring two- to four-night hotel stays ranging from $127 a person (Sacramento) to $2,483 (Napa).

Lo explains that when Jampack is sourcing hotels for events, the company looks at accommodations with “a variety of different cost levels so that we have something to offer every fan.”

She adds that along with discounts at local businesses such as restaurants, Jampack typically curates experiences like pre-parties and brunches for fans. “But this is a first-year festival. So we wanted to keep it as simple as possible and then we’re focused on listening to what the fans might want and coming back next year with some fun experiences.”

Jampack has partnered on dozens of upcoming festivals and events, including the inaugural Fool In Love festival in Inglewood, California, Aug. 31 and the return of Bourbon and Beyond in Louisville, Kentucky, Sept. 19-22.
