AC/DC debuts at No. 10 on the Artist Power Index on the strength of the band’s new “Power Up” European tour that launched on May 17. With shows booked in stadiums and outdoor concert sites throughout the summer, the tour is set to continue through Aug. 17 and wrap with a final stop in Ireland at Dublin’s Croke Park.

A total of 24 concerts are scheduled this year, beginning with the two-show opening engagement at Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, that occurred on May 17 and 21. Six more venues on the tour also have two performances planned, including Estadio La Cartuja in Seville, Spain, which is next on the schedule with concerts on May 29 and June 1. Two-night stints follow in Germany at Munich’s Olympic Stadium, Rinne in Dresden and Hannover’s Messe. Then, Vienna and London will also host stadium performances for two nights during the run.

Prior to this year, AC/DC most recently toured with the “Rock or Bust World Tour,” an 88-show trek that played both stadiums and indoor arenas in North America, Europe and Oceania in 2015 and 2016. According to box-office figures reported, the band averaged $1.47 million in grosses and 12,817 sold tickets per show at the U.S. arenas booked on the tour. At the stadium performances around the globe, the per-show gross average was $4.12 million with a ticket average of 45,183.

Two other concert headliners debut on the Artist Power Index in this issue including Maroon 5 with the No. 15 ranking after the band’s Las Vegas residency resumed at Dolby Live at Park MGM on May 17. Eight shows are planned through June 1 during this first series of dates, yet another eight-show run is on the books for September and October. Then, Christian Nodal also enters the chart rankings based on his recent three-night engagement at Auditorio Telmex in Zapopan, Mexico, in the Guadalajara metropolitan area. The Mexican singer-songwriter debuts with the No. 38 position.

On LIVE75, Los Temerarios, also from Mexico, has the highest-ranked debut, entering at No. 5 based on ticket sales at three performances on the veteran grupero band’s “Hasta Siempre” farewell tour. After launching the trek last September, the band’s original members, brothers Adolfo Angel and Gustavo Angel, performed in North American cities throughout the fall, then resumed in February with a stretch of Mexican dates through May 10. Their most recent shows at venues in León, Santiago de Querétaro and Merida, Mexico, drew a total of 52,550 fans, producing a sold-ticket average of 17,516 per show, which scores the fifth ranking on the chart.

While Los Temerarios is the only concert act to debut in the top 10 on LIVE75, six more headliners make their first appearance among the top 25 after being absent in the rankings for at least one month. Heading up that list is Justin Timberlake, debuting at No. 13 with a 10-show ticket average of 12,809 from six arenas on his “Forget Tomorrow World Tour.” His top box-office results were recorded at Kia Forum in Inglewood, California with 28,801 tickets sold for shows on May 17 and 18 and a combined gross of $7.39 million.

Also, with a LIVE75 debut at Nos. 17, 18 and 19 are English pop trio Take That, South Korean boy band TOMORROW X TOGETHER and American country artist Kane Brown, each with multiple-show engagements at venues in their home countries. Then, rounding out the top 25, Lauren Daigle enters at No. 24 with a string of U.S. arena dates followed by Louis Tomlinson at No. 25 based on seven shows in Latin American markets.
