Vince Staples Announces ‘Black In America’ Tour
Vince Staples has announced a 13-date North America tour that runs Oct. 14 to Nov. 6, kicking off in Atlanta.
In support of his eighth studio album, Dark Times, venues on the routing include Terminal 5 in New York, History in Toronto, The Anthem in Washington, D.C., Mission Ballroom in Denver and more, with the final date taking place Nov. 6 at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
Joining the tour as special guest is singer Baby Rose.
Presales begin Tuesday, June 4 at 10 a.m., with general onsale on June 7.
The North America tour follows Staples’ “Black In Europa Tour,” which kicks off June 4 in Germany and will make stops in Berlin, Paris, London, Manchester and Birmingham, where the tour wraps June 13. Those dates are accompanied by European festival performances at events including Oya in Norway, Flow Festival in Finland, and HipHop Open in Stuttgart, Germany.
The tour announcement follows the news that Staples will return to write, produce and star in the second season of his “The Vince Staples Show,” which was released in February and is loosely based on his life.
Staples is booked by WME.
