Orville Peck’s 6th Annual Rodeo To Co-Star Tanya Tucker, Aug. 24 At Ascend Amphitheater

Orville Peck has announced his 6th Annual Rodeo, an eclectic event co-starring Tanya Tucker Aug. 24 at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville.

With headline performances by Peck and country singer Tanya Tucker, the Aug. 24 Ascend Amphitheater main event will also see performances from Medium Build, Mickey Guyton, Reyna Roberts, The Nude Party and more. The event will be hosted by lauded filmmaker John Waters, adding to the eclectic nature of the overall happenings, and be bookended by kickoff and closing parties in different cities.

The rodeo begins Aug. 23 with a kickoff party at Basement East in Nashville. Described only as a “kickoff party / side show,” more information is promised soon. Aug. 25 will see a “closing party / side show” at Brooklyn Bowl.

Ticket sales begin with an artist presale on Monday, June 10, with additional presales following before general onsale June 12.

The news follows Peck’s surprise guest appearance during Kyline Minogue’s headline set at the Out Loud Festival at WeHo Pride, where the duo debuted a new single titled “Midnight Ride,” which will appear on Peck’s upcoming Stampede album.

In May, Peck was honored at the 35th GLAAD Media Awards in New York City with the Vito Russo Award, an award given to an LGBTQ media professional who has made a significant difference in accelerating LGBTQ acceptance.

Peck is repped by Doug Singer at WME.
