Omar Apollo Hitting The Road For North American Tour To Support Sophomore Album
With new music on the horizon, Omar Apollo announced he will be embarking on a North American headline tour this summer and performing in iconic venues to support his sophomore album, God Said No, which will be released June 28 via Warner Records.
Following a run of shows in Australia, Indonesia and Japan, Apollo will kick off his Live Nation-promoted tour on Aug. 20 in his home state of Indiana at Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park in Indianapolis. The 27-date run includes stops at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage, Forest Hills Stadium in New York, Raleigh’s Red Hat Amphitheater, Orlando Amphitheater in Florida, Austin’s Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park, Red Rocks Amphitheater near Denver, The Greek Theatre in Berkeley and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl. The routing concludes at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park in San Diego, California, on Oct. 11.
Kevin Abstract, Malcolm Todd and Ravyn Lenae will support Apollo’s trek on select dates.
Citi cardmembers can access presale tickets beginning June 11 at 10 a.m. local time and have until June 13 at 10 p.m. to purchase them. Fans can also access early tickets via the artist presale, which begins June 12 at 10 a.m. local time, or via the additional presales running throughout the week ahead of the general onsale, which starts June 14 at 10 a.m. local time. Those in Los Angeles with an American Express card can purchase tickets for the Hollywood Bowl show before the general public beginning June 11 at 10 a.m. PST. Apollo, who earned a Grammy nomination last year for Best New Artist, is repped by Wasserman Music’ Evan Hancock, Brent Smith, Stephanie Aristakesian and Jesse Fayne. The American artist born to Mexican parents last went on the road for a headlining tour in 2022, which included a sold-out show at The Anthem in Washington, D.C., that grossed $202,164 off 5,329 tickets, according to Pollstar’s Boxoffice. Since then, Apollo has supported stars such as SZA and Billie Eilish and performed at festivals including Life Is Beautiful Festival, Lollapalooza Brazil, Governors Ball, Gazebo Festival and Primavera Sound.
