Dropkick Murphys Announce Euro Dates Following U.S. Fall Run
Dropkick Murphys have added European dates to their U.S. run in fall, starting in Jan. 2025 in Mannheim, Germany, and closing in Vienna, Austria, in Feb.
The band was in Europe at the time of writing, doing a festival run that includes Rock Werchter in Belgium, July 4, and Les Eurockénnes in France, July 5, plus some individual shows along the way. They’ll return to North America for more festivals across the States and Canada all through the middle of September, when their North American fall tour kicks off at The Rooftop At Pier 17 in New York, NY, Sept. 24.
Closing Oct. 27 at Mullins Center in Amherst, MA, Dropkick Murphys will fly to Australia for four shows, closing out the year Nov. 22 at The Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane.
The European leg begins Jan. 24, 2025, at Maimarkthalle in Mannheim, Germany, visits Switzerland, the Nordics, and the U.K., before returning to mainland Europe and closing things out with two shows at the Gasometer in Vienna, Austria, Feb. 13-14. Full itinerary below.
Before they kicked off this year’s festival run at German twin festivals Rock am Ring and Rock im Park in July, Dropkick Murphy’s had a weekend-long St. Patrick’s Day celebration at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, MA – close to Quincy, where the band formed in 1996.
The three sold-out shows, culminating on actual St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, moved a total of 14,273 tickets at a $629,971 gross, according to Pollstar’s Boxoffice.
