Composer and California icon Danny Elfman will play two Golden State concerts showcasing his career highlights.

The performances — Nov. 2 at the Hollywood Bowl and Nov. 3 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View — are his only remaining U.S. performances in 2024.

Elfman will be backed by an “all-star rock band” and the orchestra and choir who backed him at his acclaimed 2022 Coachella performances. They will perform songs from Oingo Boingo; his solo career, including his 2021 album Big Mess; as well as television themes and film scores from “Alice in Wonderland,” “Batman,” “Edward Scissorhands,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Beetlejuice,” “The Simpsons,” “Wednesday” and more.

Elfman’s band includes Stu Brooks on bass (Dub Trio, Lady Gaga), Nili Brosh on guitar (Dethklok), Robin Finck on guitar (Nine Inch Nails, Guns N’ Roses), and Ilan Rubin on drums (Nine Inch Nails, Angels & Airwaves). The orchestra will be conducted by Steve Bartek (Original Guitarist Oingo Boingo).

Tickets for both shows go on sale to the general public starting Aug. 16 at 10 a.m. PT at ticketmaster.com. Artist presale begins Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. PT. Local presale begins Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. PT.
