Outback Presents Names Christine Melko Ross As New SVP Of Global Operations
Outback Presents announced Christine Melko Ross is joining the company as Senior Vice President of Global Operations, where she will spearhead the company’s Canadian operations. Melko Ross is based in Montreal, and has over 35 years of experience producing and promoting comedy and music shows.
“Everyone at Outback Presents is excited to have Christine join the team,” Outback Presents Co-CEO, Michael Smardak, said in a statement. “Her extensive achievements and experience in comedy will be invaluable to our global growth. We are very proud to have her join us.”
Over the last 23 years, Melko Ross worked with the Just For Laughs Group, where she helped run the Montreal Festival and launched the Toronto Festival. She’s also worked with Jerry Seinfeld, Trevor Noah, Tom Segura, Bill Burr, Sebastian Maniscalco and more. She’s produced and developed international festivals, as well, including in Sydney, Bermuda, Mexico, London and more.
